Episode 77: Virtual school visits with Valerie Bolling

November is nearly half-over! How did that happen? As we lead up to the holidays, it’s time to wrap up 2020 plans (including, my long-promised author planner–stay tuned!) and think ahead to 2021.

If author school (or library or bookstore, etc.) visits are in your 2021 plans, today’s episode with Valerie Bolling is one not to be missed. Her first children’s book released just before pandemic lockdown ruined her book promotion plans. But Valerie put on her thinking cap and took her visits virtual. Listen to all her tips and tricks!

About Valerie:

Valerie Bolling has been an educator for over 25 years and a writer since age 4. She is a graduate of Tufts University and Columbia University, Teachers College and currently works as an Instructional Coach.

Her nieces inspired her to write picture books, and she wants children of all backgrounds to see themselves in her stories and feel valued and heard. Let’s Dance! is her debut book.

Ms. Bolling and her husband live in Connecticut and enjoy traveling, hiking, reading, going to the theater … and dancing.
