Picture Book EdiTing
Picture books are a little different from long-form works, so I recommend a different, flat-fee package of editing for picture books or early readers of fewer than 2000 words.
For simple copyedit of a picture book (grammar, sentence structure, etc.) the fee is $49.
For multiple levels of review, the pricing is as follows:
Two rounds of review, covering first structural concerns (story elements like plotting, characterization, etc.) and then copyediting concerns: $99
Two rounds of review as described above, adding on a coaching call between the two edits: $199
